HOW TO RESET ROOT PASSWORD WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2

I tried many ways on how to change the root password, I tried the following:

"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ MySQL \ MySQL Server 5.5 \ bin \ mysqld.exe" - defaults-file = "C: \ \ Program Files (x86) \ \ MySQL \ \ MySQL Server 5.5 \ \ m. ini "- init-file = C: \ \ mysql-init.txt

C: \> C: \ Program Files (x86) \ MySQL \ MySQL Server 5.5 \ bin \ mysqld - init-file = C: \ \ mysql-init.txt

Second:
mysqld - skip-grant-tables - user = root

Both methods work for me in windows 7 and windows xp, but when I do on the server in Windows Server 2008 R2 can not get run welcome the change of the password.

Someone had this problem or I have to do something extra for Windows Server 2008 R2.

Regards
