Hello,
I hope to find help here.
Following situation.
I have running a MySQL 5.0 Server on Computer A (Windows 7).
I have one client (windows XP) to access on the Server. Works fine.
Now got a second client (Windows 7) and I get the "Access denied" Error trying to connect over MySQL Admin & an own programm. Error message like this: "Access denied username'computername' using passwort yes"

I have done the following:
- Set exception on Firewall for Port 3006
- Even deactivated both firewalls on Server and Client to test out
- Activated "piped names" at MySQL Server.

I can ping the Server. Now I don't know what makes block the access. It might be Windows Setting, because on the XP Computer it works fine.

Maybe you can help me?
Best regards,
