Re: Host 'MachineName' is not allowed to connect to this MySql Server

Hi friends,
I have installed the MySql server on both the Server and a Client pc.
While i am connecting the MySql Server from a Client pc by mentioning the
Host name , port no, user name as root, i am getting a error message like
Host 'system1' is not allowed to connect to this MySql Server.
I am new to MySql Server .
Pls help me ...
