The following is the memory status currently :
Memory Information

total memory = 12582MB
free memory = 9177MB
used memory = 3405MB
The issue with the memory is not there. But I have read that there is a limit of maximum size of a datafile in MYSQL cannot exceed 4GB in 4.1 version. The datafile holding this table has grown 4Gb is size.
I have searched in vain a lot but couldn get to know how to find tablespace and datafile information in MYSQL. Our database has no INFORMATION_SCHEMA. Can you kindly guide me how to find information from MYSQL database about tablespaces and datafile(their locations and sizes) and also how to add space to a tablespace.
