Hello,

I installed MySQL Server (from mysql-installer-community-5.6.11.0.msi) and it seems, it runs OK.

Nevertheless I miss the file my.ini. I think I can rename the my-default.ini to my.ini and then I can also add the entries I need (e.g. innodb_file_per_table = 1). Is it so??

I am also wondering where the settings I made within the installer are (such as binary logging =on, Port 3306 and so on). I would like to be able to set binary logging =off and thought it can be done in my.ini

Thank you in advice!
Regards Peter
