Problem fixed!

The problem seems to happen with FC2 not FC3,
The slow first connection disappear, using FC3, and the last
version of MyODBC, MySQL Server, and also updating
the server from 4.0.23 not 4.0.20,

The problem goes when I use, 4.1.9 upgraded from 4.0.20 on
Fedora Core 2, and MyODBC any version up to 3.51.10,
