Hello,

I'm a new user of myodbc and i want to connect Excel 2010 with my database.

i work with mysql5 with :

Variable_name Value
character_set_clie utf8
character_set_connection utf8
character_set_database latin1
character_set_filesystem binary
character_set_result utf8
character_set_server latin1
character_set_system utf8
character_sets_dir /usr/share/mysql/charsets/

This database works with an web application (Project'or ria) who save and read all data in utf8.

When I write dédé in the application, i've dédé save in the database. When i read this data in the application, i've dédé.

With phpmyadmin, i see this value like dédé.

When i use excel with myodbc (5.1 or 3.51), the return data is dédé

How can i do to have dédé in Excel ?

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english
