I am attempting to create an Oracle to non-Oracle connection via GENERIC ODBC connectivity...

I created the ODBC connection and when I test it I connect. But when I try to use a a Dblink from ORacle I get CAN't connect to MYSQL server on localhost.
I can use mysql from remote server with the ODBC connection and it works.

Has anyone had any luck with Heterogeneous Transparent Gateways with ORacle or the Generic ODBC Connectivity ?
