Recurring lost of connection in win 2003 in a WEB production machine

Hi to everybody,
I've a dramatic problem with myODBC.
Our architecture is this:
1st machine: win 2003 small business server edition with IIS6 (all pages are VB/ASP) and MyODBC 3.51.11
2nd machine: win 2003 with mysql database
We have a lot of people surfing the site and until last week using win 2000 we didn't have any problem.
Switching to win 2003 it was a catastrophe. Regurarly the web site loses the connection to the mysql machine! (at least 10 times per day)
The strange thing is that if I check the connection from IIS server to mysql server there are no problem. The mysql machine can be reached and surfed without any problem!
Please help me. I don't know what to do and I can't come back to winn 2000.
The error in detail is this:
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on 'x.x.x.x' (10060)
I don't find any other error but please suggest me any way to solve this problem or how to monitore to find the bug!
