ODBC 3.51.11 // PowerBuilder Pipeline Reads Date Fields as VarChar(10)

I use PowerBuilder 9.0.2 and MySQL. Recently I upgraded to ODBC Connector 3.51.11 and after upgrading I noticed that anytime I created a data pipeline in PowerBuilder it would say that all fields that are date type are varchar(10). I installed ODBC version 3.51.10 back and it works correctly. It does not seem to matter what version of MySQL server I am connecting to. I tried connecting to version 4.1.10 and 4.1.9 and it does the same thing on both versions. I checked all of the parameters for the ODBC connection and everything is set the same as it was in the previous version and I do not see any new parameters. If you look at the table in PowerBuilder the date fields look correct (i.e. '2005-03-17').

Is this a bug or am I missing a setting or something?

Thanks for you help in advance.
