MY ODBC 3.51.11-2 (STOPPING THE PROMPT)

I am running a VB6 application that Opens a tunnel and connects to a MYSQL database. It works just fine (if there is an internet connection).
However if this connection is down then the ODBC driver prompts me for login details, and the configuration screen appears.

I do NOT want this to happen, because the application should run transparrently.
Is there any way to stop it?
