We are having the same problem with our product. It's a 32 bit application which runs on 64 bit operating systems, but is having problems connecting to the 64 bit mysql. When we install 32 bit mysql on the 64 bit computer we are unable to add a DSN - I think this is a dead end but if there is any kind of work around please enlighten myself and Mike!
