MyODBC 5.1 on Windows 2000 connecting to Windows 7

Hi All,
I am wondering is it possible to connect Win2k with SP4 to Win7 Starter through ODBC.
This is the setup:
Win2k(MyODBC 5.1) -> Win7 (MySQL server 5.5)
On the Win7 TCP inbound and outbound for port 3306 is opened.
When testing the MyODBC connection at Win2k I'm getting this error message:
"Connection Failed:[IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127 (MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver)."
The same setup on Win7 seem to work just fine.
