Hello Rajesh,

Thanks for showing interest in Mysql Connector/ODBC.

This could occur if myodbc-installer is not able to find correct path of odbc.ini file. So, please set ODBCINI from output of below command:
>> odbc_config --odbcini

and ODBCSYSINI as location of odbc.ini file.
As for example:

>> export ODBCSYSINI=/etc/
>> export ODBCINI=/etc/odbc.ini

and run installation/removal of myodbc rpm package as required.
We really apologize for inconvenience caused and have taken it as bug in myodbc installation process.
