Hello rasinc,

Mysql Connector/ODBC 5.2 includes the functionality of the Unicode driver and the ANSI driver, which formerly were split between Connector/ODBC 5.1 and Connector/ODBC 3.51.
5.2 ANSI is newer version of 3.51 with bug fixes, so prefer using 3.51 only.
