Connection failed: [HY000] [Mysql][ODBC 5.2(w) driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on 'ipaddress' (10061)

Hi,

I can't connect to Mysql server from ODBC driver.
The message is: Connection failed: [HY000] [Mysql][ODBC 5.2(w) driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on 'ipaddress' (10061)

Client: win 7 Pro, driver ODBC MySQL 5.2.6
Server: Ubuntu 12.04

I can connect with http connection
http://'ipaddress'/phpmyadmin/index.php
