Yes, reported at
http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?38,112361,112361#msg-112361. The best performance available so far against MySQL in Windows, and the only performance that's comparable to what you get against Sql Server 2005, is evidently via Connector/ODBC with the MyISAM table engine. Who knew?
