Re: SqlMembershipProvider equivilent for MySql
Reading up on those they look like they are not ready for a production environment. One is a person's first programming effort and the second has a bunch of comments about bugs and the author points to a new link that is dead.
I think for the membership/role part we may have to tell people it's Sql Server only. We can still use MySql as the DB for our main repository though.
