MySQL Forums :: .NET :: 5.2.3 installer fails without error

Edit: I think i found out what's wrong... The installer have hardcoded the path to Visusal Studio, and since i installed visual studio to a different place than standard, it can't find the file. I assume this is a bug...

Does anyone know if there's a workaround i can use? I guess just creating a normal shortcut won't work? Doesn't NTFS have some other more advanced "shortcut" features?

ORIGINAL POST:
I'm trying to install connector v5.2.3, but in the end of the installation it starts rolling back ending with a message saing that the setup wizard ended prematurely. No other describing error.

While installing, the last text i can see has something with visual studio in it (it's so fast it's impossible to read).

My PC has Windows XP with Visual studion 2008.

It must be mentioned that i previously had older versions installed, and since i didn't save the MSI installer a safe place while installing it, it was impossible to uninstall it. So i had to manually remove it, using Installer cleanup utility, and removing every mysql file, and registry reference.

Does anyone know what i can do?
