I am having the same issue with a clean POSReady 2009 machine and a clean install of MySQL 5.5.23.0. The install goes great but when you use Workbench to connect, I get a message saying it cannot connect to localhost. I have change from localhost to use IP with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
