Thank you for the reply.
I have reviewed the links you included in your post and have concluded the .Net Connector will not work with medium security as configured by my provider. And because they will not make any changes I must find another solution; go back to MSSQL.
Still curious why the .Net Connector 6.6.5 does not have the same capabilities as the Workbench app which can connect remotely to and manage the MySql database on my hosted website.
