The insertion speed depends of many factors like the size of the table, the indexes and others, it could be difficult to determine an average speed because the environments can be very different.

And the insert size limit depends of the amount of available memory and the size of the communications buffer, you can take as reference the Text and Blob types, and you can find more info about it here:
