MySQL Connector/NET 6.9.2 RC has been released

Dear MySQL users,

MySQL Connector/Net 6.9.2 a new version of the all-managed .NET driver for MySQL has been released. This is a RC release for 6.9.x and is not recommended for production environments.

It is appropriate for use with MySQL server versions 5.5-5.7.

It is now available in source and binary form from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/#downloadsandmirrorsites
(note that not all mirror sites may be up to date at this point-if you can't find this version on some mirror, please try again later or choose another download site.)

Changes in MySQL Connector/Net 6.9.2 (2014-07-18 Release Candidate)

Bugs Fixed

* Creating a Geometry Column with an SRID value would not save
the value to the table. (Bug #19137999, Bug #71869)

* Added async/await compatible methods

* Added the SiteMap and Personalization configuration web
providers to the MySql.Web Nuget package.
