Since I Have installed .NET 2.0 and rebuild my web applications (running under IIS 6) Mysql regularly crash.
Cause has due to: "too many connections" because the connection afther command "close()" remain in "sleep mode" and when the number of connections match the variable "max_connections" mysql server refuse other connections.

Solution that I want avoid is return to ODBC or .NET 1.1.

Server MySQL version: 4.0.12-nt.

Thanks in advance for any help.
