I too am experiencing the EXACT same problem -- i have 5 machines all working in a farm, identical setup, and only ONE of them have started doing this.
I have checked everything; they are all on the same JDK 1.6, same OS/libraries (we are in a virtual EC2-type environment, so i know they are identical).
