MySQL Forums :: JDBC and Java :: No suitable driver found for jdbc

H, I am running MySql 5.1.37 and I am using the JDBC driver 5.1.10 in tomcat 5.5 and I am getting the error in the subject line.

I have the library located at /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/myApp/WEB-INF/lib and I am running this on m MacBook.

What am I doing wrong is there a known issue with this driver for the version of MysQl and Tomcat? Please advise. Thanks
