Hi,
Reverting to version 5.1.32 may "solve" your problem but I wouldn't recommend it. You would be skipping a lot of additional fixes and improvements. This is confusing because it shouldn't be happening anyway.

Could you please send an updated stack trace for latest Connector/J version (5.1.36)?

It may be related to the HikariCP component in your setup. Are you able to try without it?

You can also try adding "serverTimezone=UTC" to your connection string and see how it goes.
