Hence I say: if you want a legal opinion relevant to you, ask a lawyer. Is that unreasonable?
Lawyer's opinions differ, it is just a matter on which advice you are satisfied with for your particular situation. In the end, it's only opinions though, not final judgements. In a court case, any interpretation or opinion is irrelevant, the court's ruling would matter.
All I can say is that MySQL AB is not a litiguous company. We produce software, not court cases.
