Install Problem with Debian

Hello,

I am trying to install MAXDB on Denbian Etch server. I did a install of the OS with the desktop settings and standard install options.

I then follow the install instructions I found here:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/maxdb/instguide.html

and here is my error depending on where I run it from:

1. sql2:/usr/local# tar xvfz maxdb-all-linux-32bit-i386-7_5_00_44.tgz

2. sql2:/usr/local# ./SDBSETUP
-bash: ./SDBSETUP: No such file or directory

2a. sql2:/usr/local/maxdb-all-linux-32bit-i386-7_5_00_44# ./SDBSETUP
-bash: ./SDBSETUP: No such file or directory

What am I doing wrong? The instructions are pretty basic.

Thanks,

P.
