I had the same problem too and spent 3 weeks trying to get logged in without success and eventually I discovered Interstate Software at https://www.interstatesoftware.com/index.php.

They have an introductory support service that costs just $125 which gives you 1 hour of telephone support. In my case I had a problem with port 3306 and start problems with the MySQL Service. He took me through a number of steps over the phone and in 20 minutes everything was working. They also have a very good attitude there and I plan to use them again.
