First you should clarify in your first post that you are using PHP, then post it in the PHP forum.

Second, no you can't do what you are asking to do in a single query in PHP. You would have to create multiple queries to the database.

much faster to do what you want from a text file and run it from the mysql client.

I'll move the thread.
