I was wondering what the best way would be to set up a database for a online gallery?

I am not exactly sure on how the table structure should look. I need to have a gallery thumbnail then have all the other thumbnails on the actual gallery page but i do not want to re-size every thumbnail and upload a separate image to save space, I would just rather re-size in the HTML. Then when the user clicks on the Gallery thumb a new page loads with all the thumbnails, the gallery title, and the gallery description.

If anyone could help me out with a tutorial or maybe some pointers on how to set up this database that would be great.
