Query is 0.0009 seks, but screen takes 5-10 seks

Hi there.
Im using mysql and php since 5 years.

Today is the day, where i have a big table in Mysql. (For my opinion :D)
I have one table named "players" which has 16 thousand rows.

Now my webpage needs 5-10 seks for a query where this table is working.

sure, i thought. there are many rows in this table.

Then i switched to mysql->phpMyAdmin and opened player-table.

Infobar shows me a queryspeed of 0.0009seks but the screen shows it after 5 seks.

how can i change that?
is there any way?
