php web page isn't working

Hi All,
I'm running Fedora Core 4 with Php 5.0.4 and MySQL 5.0.18. I've setup a few tables in a database and have been able to connect to the database via the ODBC connector just fine. When I enabled apache and attempted to connect to the same database via php I'm getting blank pages..... no errors.
I'm lost here where the problem is.... any ideas ?
