Page disappears

I have a web site I did a while ago that I'm looking to update to MySQL and PHP. To this end I've been doing little tutorials with them, all working fine. When I go to implement them into my page nothing displays in the IE window. No background image, nothing. The HTML code it shows as the source is literally an empty body tag now. It doesn't even bring in the title. What on Earth could be causing this? All I'm doing on the page is connecting to a db, pulling a few result sets back, doing a few loops through them to display info and create links to detail pages. Nothing to elaborate I don't think. If you guys really want to see all the code just let me know and I can post it up here no problem. Thanx for any help you gurus can give me =).
