Thank you very much. I just copied the latest connected jar (namely mysql-connector-java-5.1.12-bin.jar and no XML file) to the server lib folder and it started to work just fine.

I agree with other users that I never had to do this before and not a good solution but it does work!

For me JUnit test was working fine by reading the jar from the project lib folder but the server was failing. I think it has some thing to do the way WTP project setup works.

Anyway thank you for your finding and sharing it in this forum.
