Moving from Microsoft SQL SERVER 7.0 to MYSQLSERVER 5.5

Hi,

I've just moved from Microsoft SQL SERVER 7.0 to MYSQL SERVER 5.5
I've installed MYSQL SERVER 5.5 and MySql Workbench 5.2 CE

I changed the version due to the new server I've bought to replace my PC working as a server.

So, the first problem I encountered was that I can't import my old database into this new version of MYSQLSERVER 5.5.

The old database from Microsoft SQL SERVER 7.0 were consisted of two files: "dataname".mdf and "dataname".ldf

My question is would it be possible for me to import .mdf and .ldf file including its tables' content to this new version of MYSQL server 5.5.

If applicable, please advice
If not, please tell me the other ways

Thank you in advance
