I just started receiving this error as well. I have tried most of the suggestions but some are not possible.

My application worked just fine without this error up until the time that I backed up my dB and reconfigured my db partition. I reinstalled mysql with the latest version 5.0.. and reloaded the database.

Now the error appears.

Any thoughts?
