Well you might have to double-check everything (I don't doubt you just bear
with me) and run SHOW PROCESSLIST to make sure you're the only one on the
system ;)

Next step is that you need to look thru BUGS on the ODBC Connector and see
if this has already been reported.

Next step after that is if it hasn't, then see if you can setup a way to
replicate it for the MYSQL Bug folks. Give them some create table code
some data, and the version of your OS, MS Access and steps to recreate
the connection there and see if they get the same issue.

You can also log ODBC to a file so I'd do that as well.

You may have to provide them with a moderate amount of evidence to get
you bug looked at or so they can help you fix something that's been
overlooked.

I wish I knew of a way to open "debug mode" on an ODBC connection.
