error suppression myodbc

Hello,

i have follow problems:
I programmed a software, which queries every 10 minutes one accomplishes if the InterNet connection is interrupted or the data base is not attainable then opens myODBC and everything is stopped. is there a possibility to suppress?

please help, thx.
