aus der "relationalen" Sicht hast Du Recht, da erreicht das ganze nicht die erste Normalform.

Aber XML ist eine Erweiterung vieler Datenbank, die MySQL noch nicht besonders gut beherrscht, aber das Speichern von kompletten XML-Formularen (inclusive Formatierungen) ist ebenfalls sinnvoll.

Teilweise wird XML auch als Datenaustauschformat verwendet oder als Formulare für Web-Anwendungen.
