Hi Sridhar,

I assume your text file is *not* a CSV file, and that your file contains either fixed-length ASCII text OR is a report that was printed to a disk file (rather than to a printer). If my assumption is correct, I have used two of the data tools from Pervasive (http://pervasivedatatools.com/datatools) to parse and extract these kinds of data and map it to a database. One of the tools is their Data Parser for Fixed Text, and the other is their Data Extractor for Unstructured Text. Both of these data tools are free right now.
