MySQL Administrator
FriendFinder, Inc. the leading global online relationship network, with over 70 million members is looking for a MySQL Administrator for its operations in our Palo Alto office.
The ideal candidate must have:
• Understanding of DB replication, backup, recovery, and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of how high volume can affect database availability and table design.
• Experience writing PERL to generate web pages and emails.
• Fluency in HTML, including browser compatibility issues.
• Pluses for: WAP, Email Parsing, Linux System Admin, qmail and experience working on a website that can be displayed in several languages.
Other requirements:
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive projects to completion.
• Comfortable with adult content.
