Re: Temporary Tables Aliasing in Stored Procedure
According to my understanding of temporary tables in MySQL, they're just that - temporary tables - existing only for the duration of the session in which they're created. Once the session expires, the table is dropped. Thus, someone else could create a temporary table with the same name but different structure on the database and there would be no conflict. This is what the documentation states.
