Sorry but I would like to clarify exactly what has been established here because I am somewhat confused. As I understand it now, with a Temporary table, both the table structure and the data it contains are temporary and session specific. Consequently, two parties can be connected to the same database and use the same table containing different data at the same time without conflict.Can somebody clarify if my understanding is now correct.

Can somebody also answer the following questions;
1. What are the typical uses of temporary tables
2. Given that temporary tables only exist for the duration of the session, when and how are they normally created.
