"I would have appreciated that MySQL team should have given some explanation on what excalty is issue with the new build and upgrade, instead of picking one line from my comment and trying to give me advice on how should I write my SP. "

Perhaps when they look at your post they might, until then you will have to make do with me. (I'll take it as a compliment but you do realise I have no affiliation with MySQL).

Personally I'm greatful for the opportunity to be involved in the testing process, if you're not then thats fine, I'd suggest you stop using 5.0.x if it's not working for you. I don't mean that in a throw your toys out of the pram way, but if MySQL is not doing what you need perhaps you should consider changing to another database.....

Seems you already did that and wasn't happy with that either......

You do realise this is an informal forum not a support network, MySQL are willing to support you if you want to pay for it.
