Text file import

I am setting up a database in MySQL which was originally in Access. I have added some new tables and also new fields to existing tables. I want to import the data only from some of the Access tables. I have exported the data from Access to a comma delimited .txt file but need the exact syntax of the import command. I don't seem to get it exactly correct and only the data from the first field is importing, the rest are null.
