need help connecting to remote mysql server
hello,
my name is cody. i'm having trouble connecting to a mysql server on another computer. the computer is in the dmz of our network but not really on our network you know. i have root privelages on that mysql server but from my computer on the main network i cannot connect to the one in the dmz. can someone please help me. i am using mysql control center. and i am using the server for webpublishing so i have to make the database on my computer exactly like the other one on the dmz running mysql to make it work, which means getting up driving halfway acros town and making changes to the database. PLEASE HELP ME!!! thankyou for your time - cody
