Front end (gui for mysql)

I have designed a database for for a second year placement application. The application is meant to allow students check vacancies that are available in various companies associated with a university.
The placement officer is the admin and will be the main user of the system. the database has been designed, but the gui that lets users interact with the database is non existent, I have no knowledge of php which would have been ideal can anyone advice me on what i can do to create a gui thats easy to use and develop.
