mysql import database from dump takes a lot of time
Hello,
Should pushing 3gb dump take 75 minutes?
Can I push to the db faster without hardware upgrade?
How can I profile what is the bottleneck?
mysql version is 5.1.45
FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT #4: Wed Apr 14 21:09:31 CEST 2010 i386
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7300 @ 2.66GHz (2666.69-MHz 686-class CPU)
real memory = 2147483648 (2048 MB)
avail memory = 1946615808 (1856 MB)
ad4: 238475MB <SAMSUNG HD252HJ 1AC01113> at ata2-master UDMA100 SATA 3Gb/s
